You are warmly invited to register for a school tour with our Principal Amanda Humeniuk, and experience St Therese School warm environment.

Come along and ask Amanda all the questions you need to learn more about how St Therese may be the ideal school for your child.

Please contact the school by phone or email info@sts.catholic.edu.au to obtain an information package, including an application form.

When can my child start school?

At St Therese School, we offer two intakes each year for children starting Reception:

Term 1 enrolment – for children who turn five years on or before April 30.
Term 3 enrolment (Mid-Year intake) - for children who turn five years on or before October 31.

Children who turn five from November 1 onwards commence Reception at the beginning of the following year.

Please feel welcome to contact us to discuss your enrolment options, and to confirm whether your child qualifies for our mid-year intake.

How do I enrol my child?

  • Parents submit an Application for Enrolment form and pay the application fee - $50
  • Parents are then invited to attend an interview along with their child, approximately two years prior to commencing Reception
  • Pending availability of placement, an offer of enrolment is then forwarded to successful applicants
  • Parents formally accept the offer of enrolment in order to secure the placement. At this time a non-refundable acceptance fee for each child of $150 is payable.

The above process also applies to parents wishing to enrol their child in all year levels from Year 1 to Year 6.

St Therese has two key intake points for Reception students, at the beginning of Term 1 and at the beginning of Term 3. Students may enter other Year Levels at any time of the school year, subject to available vacancies.

Enrolment offers are made approximately two years prior to the intended commencement date and continue until Year levels are full.

At St Therese, we welcome all enquiries from families who are looking for a new school.

Before your child starts their journey at St Therese, we will provide you with more information about parent meetings, uniform and orientation days.

If you have any further questions on enrolment, please do not hesitate to contact our school office.
