Enrolment Pathway

Come and see us in action!

You are warmly invited to register for a tour to explore the St Therese School learning environment with our Principal Dee-anne Peters.

Please contact us by phone, or email enrolments@sts.catholic.edu.au to express your interest in attending a tour, or to obtain an information package including an application for enrolment form.

When can my child start school?

At St Therese School, we offer two intakes each year for children starting Reception:

Term 1 enrolment – for children who turn five years on or before April 30.
Term 3 enrolment (Mid-Year intake) - for children who turn five years on or before October 31.

Children who turn five from November 1 onwards commence Reception at the beginning of the following year.

Please feel welcome to contact us to discuss your enrolment options, or to confirm if your child is eligible for our mid-year intake.

How do I enrol my child?

  • Parents submit an Application for Enrolment form and pay the application fee
  • Parents are then invited to attend an enrolment discussion along with their child, approximately 2 years prior to commencing Reception
  • Pending availability of placement, an offer of enrolment is forwarded to successful applicants
  • Parents formally accept the offer of enrolment in order to secure the placement

The above process also applies to parents wishing to enrol their child in any year level from Year 1 to Year 6.

St Therese has two key intake terms for Reception students, at the beginning of Term 1 and at the beginning of Term 3. Students may enter other Year Levels at any time of the school year, subject to available vacancies.

Before your child starts their journey at St Therese, we will provide you with more information about parent meetings, uniform and transition to school.

If you have any further questions on enrolment, please do not hesitate to contact our school office.
